Gabe Killian’s Parlay for UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan

hyun-gyu-limUFC Fight Night 52 Date: September 20, 2014 Arena: Saitama Super Arena City: Saitama, Japan UFC Fight Night 52 will be live from Japan late Friday night/early Saturday morning with a 12-fight card, including a six-fight main card that will stream live on UFC Fight Pass at 3:30am ET, with preliminary action getting going at 12:30am ET, also on UFC Fight Pass. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay for UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan: Welterweight bout: Kiichi Kunimoto (-240) vs Richard Walsh (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: Walsh looked impressive against his TUF Nations teammate Chris Indich at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale just a few months ago, defeating his fellow Aussie via dominant unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. Kunimoto also impressed in his last outing, scored a first round rear naked choke over Daniel Sarafian in the biggest upset of the night at UFC 174. Simply put, I think the Japanese veteran is the superior fighter in this match-up and has a big grappling advantage over the Australian. I see Kunimoto controlling Walsh in the grappling, likely en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I could see it being a close fight, but I could also see Kunimoto completely dominating. In either case, I see him getting his hand raised in front of his countrymen. Gabe’s Call: Kunimoto by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Hyun Gyu Lim (-550) vs Takenori Sato (+435) Gabe’s Thoughts: Simply put, I expect Lim to use his vicious limbs to make quick work of Sato. Lim’s height, reach and striking advantages will play the difference in this match-up. I don’t expect this to make it out of the first frame. Some may feel safer parlaying Lim at -550 but I like the Under 1.5 rounds at -165 a lot more, because again, I am having trouble seeing this fight make it out of the first frame. Only way is if Sato puts Lim on his back and keeps him there, and I don’t think that’s very realistic. Once Sato feels Lim’s knees, it will only be a matter of seconds before the referee is forced to intervene. Gabe’s Call: Lim by T/KO (strikes, 1:01 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Kunimoto (-240) parlayed with Lim/Sato Under 1.5 rounds (-165) for +127 3.65u to win 4.65
