UFC 177’s Danny Castillo: ‘It’s a huge hometown advantage for me’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 177 lightweight Danny Castillo as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event bout against Tony Ferguson this Saturday (August 3o, 2014) at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.

The Team Alpha Male fighter is based out of Sacramento and he feels that it will give him a massive edge come fight time:

“Most definitely it’s a huge hometown advantage for me. The week of the fight I’ll be sleeping in my bed…I can go home, I don’t have to be worried about packing things. Everything’s here. My friends and family are gonna be here. It’s positive motivation for me. It’s a lot of good pressure…I grew up in Sacramento. It’s awesome”
