The talented Tri-Star product looked terrific in his last fight against Jorge Gurgel, and he’s hoping to make history repeat itself on Friday against Sotiropoulos:
“What if Sotiropoulos is past his due date? What if he’s too old? What if he’s trying to make something happen that’s just not gonna happen? If that’s the case, this is gonna be the wrong fight for him because I’m really reaching my prime as a fighter, as an athlete, as a man, and I proved a lot in my last fight. Coming off the whirlwind of the UFC, I took a main event against a tough guy. I showed up in shape and I executed. I’m gonna do the same thing again this time.”
