MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 33 welterweight Kamarudeen Usman as he prepares for his co-main event bout tonight (July 18, 2014) against Marcus Hicks at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas.
The talented wrestler is taking advantage of training with the veteran UFC fighters at the Blackzilians gym and he is planning on utilizing those lessons for a future day he hits the spotlight:
“I think it’s a huge benefit to be able to be around those guys. Rashad’s kind of taken me under his wing to where I’ve seen the ins and outs of the sport, like behind the scenes. I’ve seen what not to do and so I think it’s a huge advantage for me to be able to see that day in and day out so I know when it is my turn in the spotlight, I know the right way to go with it. I also know the way not to go.”
