UFC Fight Night 44’s Colton Smith: ‘Carlos Diego Ferreira is weak mentally’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 44 lightweight Colton Smith as he prepares for his preliminary card bout this Saturday night (June 28, 2014) against Carlos Diego Ferreira at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The Ultimate Fighter season 16 winner

“Carlos does really well at a couple things. He has a lot of holes in his game but he does really well at setting the pace of the fight, making sure guys get lulled into his pace of the fight. He takes breaks in the cage. I don’t care if he hears this or not. He takes breaks psychologically. I think he’s a weak person mentally. Guys allow him to set the pace of the fight, take breaks, rest against the cage and that’s just not the way I fight.”
