MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 15 middleweight Kevin Casey as he prepares for his main card bout this Friday (June 6, 2014) against Andrew Sanchez at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California.
The former Ultimate Fighter season 17 contestant knows he has a tall task ahead of him in the undefeated Sanchez, but he’s far from intimidated:
“I see Andrew as a tough wrestler. He’s a tough kid and he’ll come in in shape. I imagine he’ll come in more refined with his striking, but at the end of the day, I don’t see him as a big finishing threat. His striking doesn’t look unbelievable, his submissions don’t look unbelievable, but he’s a tough guy to put away. I’m gonna punish him for the duration of the fight. I plan on sticking him on the feet, frustrating him, and sticking him on his back, really putting on a lot of pressure.”
