UFC 173’s Dan Henderson: ‘It’s about knocking Daniel Cormier out’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 173 light heavyweight Dan Henderson as he prepares for his co-main event bout this Saturday (May 24, 2014) against Daniel Cormier at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The powerful veteran knows he’ll be at a significant size disadvantage come fight time, but it’s nothing he hasn’t seen before considering he stepped into the cage against heavyweights in the past:

“I haven’t done anything different as far as weight training goes. I’ve fought heavyweights before and I don’t think the weight is going to tbe the factor in this fight. It’s more about being in the right positions, defending takedowns, not getting hit, putting him on his back, putting him against the fence and knocking him out.”
