Bellator 110’s Mike Richman: ‘I’m prepared for Dez Green’s southpaw wrestling’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 110 featherweight Mike Richman as he prepares for his tournament quarterfinal bout tomorrow night (February 28, 2014) against Desmond Green at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The former marine hasn’t competed against a left-handed fighter in a professional fight, but he’ll be more than ready for the problems Dez Green’s southpaw-style presents due to his variety of training partners:

“Especially with this fight against Dez Green. He’s the first southpaw I ever fought. He’s a wrestler as well. I’ve been working extensively, doing live drills with Jacob Volkmann. He’s a southpaw MMA wrestler. We have a good handful of left-handed fighters in our gym. The variety of talent in our gym is great. It gives a lot of different looks.”
