Bellator 105’s Will Brooks: ‘I’m just focused on keeping my momentum going’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 105 lightweight Will brooks as he prepares for his season nine lightweight tournament semifinal bout this Friday night (Oct. 25, 2013) against Saad Awad at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, Mexico.

The talented wrestler out of American Top Team is bracing for a rematch from earlier this year against Awad and he’s hoping to avenge a first minute TKO defeat, the first of his professional career.

“I have an idea that he’s going to try to push the pace, stay in my zone and try to keep me from being athletic. He’ll try to keep me from moving my feet and circling and being able to be evasive and force a lot of my offense. I think that’s one thing he’s really going to push for this time around. I also believe he’s going to go back to what he does best which is big punches, looping punches. I believe in the performance I put on against John Alessio and they’re very similar fighters.”
