UFC Fight Night 29’s TJ Dillashaw: ‘I told them I wanted a top 10 opponent’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 29 bantamweight TJ Dillashaw as he prepares for his main card bout tomorrow night (Oct. 9, 2013) against Raphael Assuncao at the Ginásio José Corrêa in Barueri, Brazil.

The talented Team Alpha Male fighter has done his homework with coach Duane “Bang” Ludwig in advance of the toughest fight of his UFC career heading into hostile territory:

“I think he’s a very well-rounded fighter. He does have some wrestling as well so it’s gonna be a tough fight. He’s going to try to throw his one strikes, slow the motion down. He wants to throw one strike at a time, one big strike. If he can, he’ll try to win the round with a takedown but I don’t think he’ll be able to do that. Like I said, he’s well-rounded. He’s gonna try to win it everywhere. He likes to counter-punch and keep it slow. I’ll be working my angles, see what habits he has, make sure I don’t get overly aggressive and just stay in his face.”
