MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator lightweight Brandon Girtz as he gets prepared for his upcoming (Oct. 4, 2013) Bellator 102 preliminary card bout against Poppies Martinez at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California.
Girts has some very high expectations for his upcoming bout against Martinez, with hopes that both men bring down the house due to their aggressive overall fighting styles:
“I see him as a really aggressive fighter. He’s got decent wrestling and it looks like he has a good gas tank. He really comes and pushes it. I really like that, though. I really like someone that brings the fight to me rather than someone who sits back and waits for me to bring the fight to them. I think it’s gonna be a pretty high-impact fight. He’s gonna bring it pretty hard and I’m not gonna let him take me out. He’s gonna raise my level, I feel like.”
