UFC Fight Night 141 took place Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Shanghai, Chian. The card was headlined by a huge heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou.

Favorites that Won

Song Yadong’s pressure and boxing acumen were too much for Vince Morales who was on the back foot the entire fight. Yadong swept the scorecards for his third straight win in the UFC. Yadong closed -565 with the return on Morales +415.

It took until the third round, but Li Jingliang’s power shots finally took center stage in the third round. He landed a body shot that forced David Zawada to crumble up. The win is Jingliang’s sixth win in his last seven fights. Jingliang closed -220 while Zawada closed +170.

Zhang Weili earned her first stoppage victory in the UFC when she forced Jessica Aguilar to tap in the opening round. Weili closed -592. Aguilar closed +417.

Liu Pingyuan made it two straight UFC wins when he edged Martin Day by split decision. Pingyuan closed a -184 favorite while Day closed +154.

Yan Xiaonan had no problem with Syuri Kondo winning all three rounds to sweep the scorecards. Xiaonan closed -405 with the return on Kondo +305.

Kevin Holland earned his first win in the UFC when he submitted John Phillips in the third round. Holland closed -598. Phillips closed +423.

Louis Smolka’s return to the UFC was a positive one as he was able to submit Su Mudaerji in the second round. Smolka closed -170 while Mudaerji closed +140.

Underdogs that Won

Francis Ngannou dropped Curtis Blaydes in the opening minute forcing referee Marc Goddard to step in and stop the bout giving Ngannou a huge victory to put him back on track in the UFC. Ngannou closed +180 while Blaydes closed -225.

Alistair Overeem earned a first round victory for the first time in five years forcing the referee to step in as he landed vicious ground and pound on his opponent, Sergey Pavlovich. Overeem closed +105 while Pavlovich closed -135.

Alex Morono forced Song Kenan to fight off the back foot not allowing him to get himself into the fight ultimately winning by decision. Morono closed +115 with the return on Kenan -145.

After beating dropped, Wu Yanan threw up her legs and was able to latch on to Lauren Mueller’s arm and earn a first round submission victory. Yanan closed +277. Mueller closed -357.

In a back and forth slugfest, Rashad Coulter landed the bigger shots and cutting Hu Yaozong open to win a decision. Coulter closed -109 while Yaozong closed -121.
