LFA 44 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 44 takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday (June 29, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. A pair of top welterweights clash in the main event as Arizona Combat Academy standout Matthew Frincu clashes with Christian Aguilera.

Frincu (12-3) has won five of his last six fights, with his lone loss coming against current UFC welterweight Curtis Millender at LFA 24 in October. The Austriallian trains with LFA title challenger and fellow welterweight standout Kyle Stewart and he’s finished four of his last six opponents. Aguilera (11-4) has finished his last three opponents and has won four of his last five fights overall. The 26-year-old competes for the fourth time this year.

The co-main event features a flyweight matchup pitting Contender Series alum Casey Kenney against UFC veteran Roman Salazar.

Kenney (8-1-1) rebounded from the first loss of his career when he defeated Kendrick Latchman at LFA 31 in January. The 27-year-old 2-1-1 in his last four fights. Salazar (12-6, NC) heads into his LFA debut on a two-fight win streak, with both of those victories coming by knockout. “El Gallito” went winless during his UFC tenure from 2014 to 2015, losing to Mitch Gagnon and Marlon Vera, while fighting to a “No Contest” against Kid Yamamto at UFC 184.
