Glory 52 takes place at The Pacific Room in Los Angelas, California, on Saturday (March 31, 2018) on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN 3. In the main event, Glory featherweight champion Robin van Roosmalen defends his title against Kevin VanNostrand.
Van Roosmalen (50-16-3) heads into this title defense on a four-fight win streak, inclduing a unanimous decision victory over Serhiy Adamchuk at Glory 45 in September. The 28-year-old has won nine of his last ten fights. VanNostrand (17-1) is coming off a knockout victory over Anvar Boynazarov at Glory 48 New York in December where he won the Contender Tournament. The American has won four fights in a row, with three of those matchups ending via stoppage.
In the co-main event, Simon Marcus looks to bounce back from his loss to Alex Pereira when he takes on American Zack Wells. Marcus (19-2-2) had his three-fight win streak snapped as he suffered a unanimous decision setback to Pereira at Glory 46 China in October. The 31-year-old Canadian has never lost back-to-back fights in his career. Wells (1-0) hasn’t fought for Glory since a Oct. 2015 knockout win over Chris Trammell at Glory 24 in Denver. The American most recently competed in MMA where he won a split decision over Nate Flanderts at SCL: AVM 8 in April of 2017.
