Moraga vs Reis at UFC on Fox 29

MMAFighting broke the news that former flyweight title challengers Wilson Reis and John Moraga will duke it out on April 14th for UFC on Fox 29 in Glendale, Arizona. Reis (22-8) is currently on a two-fight losing streak. He was submitted by UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson last April, then most recently was TKO’d by Henry Cejudo in September. Moraga (18-6) is riding a two-fight winning streak, most recently knocking out top prospect Magomed Bibulotov in October. Moraga lost to Johnson via fifth round submission back in July of 2013.

These fighters are moving in opposite directions. Reis has the better ground game, but he’s also fragile and could be knocked out at any moment. If Reis can’t get this to the ground and keep it there, I think Moraga can put him away. Look for Moraga to open as the betting favorite once odds are released.
