Mayweather-McGregor Undercard Betting Odds For Saturday (August 26, 2017)

Saturday’s Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor Pay-Per-View fight is being supported by a full night of boxing fights promoted by Leonard Ellerbe and Mayweather Promotions. As expected, a good bit of Mayweather Jr.’s “The Money Team” fighters appear on the card, including Gervonta Davis and Badou Jack in world title fights as co-features.

Jack (21-1-2) was the first TmT fighter to win a world title, as he is a former 168-pound super middleweight world champion, but this fight sees him moving up a weight class to light heavyweight. WBA world champion Nathan Cleverly (30-3) is putting his belt on the line against Jack. Cleverly has been a world champion at light heavyweight multiple times, and he has fought a high level of competition that includes Tony Bellew, Jurgen Brahmer and Sergey Kovalev, among others. Cleverly may have value as an underdog if you believe that the weight class change may make a difference.

Gervonta Davis (18-0) was set to defend his IBF world title at 130 pounds against Costa Rica’s Francisco Fonseca (19-0-1). However, he missed weight by two pounds on Friday and was stripped of the title. The 22-year-old Davis is Mayweather Jr.’s top commodity right now, as the hard-hitting southpaw has delivered at every step of his development. In his last outing, Davis traveled to England, where he waxed over-valued contender Liam Walsh in less than three rounds. In Fonseca, he is facong another youngster who has won titles on a regional level in Central America, but this is his first trip to the United States. The books are still not giving Fonseca much of a chance at all.

Popular Shawn Porter pulled out of his fight against Thomas Dulorme due to personal reasons, but he was a massive favorite heading into the contest as well. Rugged Cuban Yordenis Ugas stepped in on short notice, and Dulorme now finds himself in a much more winnable fight.
