WSOF 34’s Justin Gaethje: ‘I would like to retire this man from the sport – that is my goal’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with WSOF lightweight champion Justin Gaethje as he prepares for title fight on New Year’s Eve (Saturday, December 31, 2016) against Luiz Firmino at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The WSOF lightweight champ talks about training during the holidays and his new opponent:

“If [Firmino] gets on top of you, the man is boring. He’s content to lie on top of you and not hit you or hit you with rabbit punches, so that right there alone frustrates me, just having him in my sport. Those kind of fighters really irk me. He’s never been knocked out, I’m looking forward to knocking him out. His last fight he lost and then stormed out of the cage like a little baby, so I would like to retire this man from the sport – that is my goal.”
