The former Invicta FC atomweight champion has been training and competing for much longer than her upcoming opponent and she’s hoping that will be the difference come fight time:
“[Paige VanZant] got a lot of praise for her grit and her toughness when she fought Rose [Namajunas] and that’s a great thing to have as a fighter. That’s also something that can hurt you as you continue on with your career because grit and toughness can only take you so far until you meet someone who has the same amount of grit and toughness plus skill.”
