480 Russell Doane now faces Mirsad Bektic Saturday at UFC 204 UFC officials announced this morning that Russell Doane will step up on five-days notice to take on Mirsad Bektic this Saturday at UFC 204. Doane (14-6) replaces the injured Arnold Allen and has lost three fights in a row including a setback at UFC Fight Night 90 against Pedro Munhoz. Bektic (10-0) hasn’t competed since a win over Lucas Martins last year at UFC Fight Night 67. UFC 204 takes place at the Manchester Arena on Saturday. Graves has been removed from his scheduled bout on Nov. 19 as a result of the pending legal matter.” UFC Fight Night 100 takes place on November 19 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the UFC is currently seeking a replacement for Moraes. Derek Anderson moves up to welterweight, takes on Paul Daley at Bellator 163 Bellator announced in a press release on Monday that Derek Anderson will be moving up to the welterweight division against Paul Daley at Bellator 163 next month. In addition, the promotion also announced that Sergei Kharitonov will make his long-awaited promotional debut against Javy Ayala. Anderson (14-2, 1NC) heads into this matchup off back-to-back wins including a victory over Saad Awad in August. Daley (38-14-2) had his five-fight win streak snapped in his last fight, losing to former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima in July at Bellator 158.
