Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 176:

  • The main event of LFA 176 is a five-round vacant LFA featherweight championship bout between Elijah Johns and Alfred Walker. Johns is coming off a submission loss to Javier Garcia in his last bout, which was also for the vacant belt. The brother of UFC fighter Miles Johns, all but two of his bouts have taken place under the LFA banner. As for Walker, he has won his last three fights in a row, including a split decision win over Landry Ward in his last fight. Walker is a solid fighter who has been doing well lately, but Johns is the clear favorite.
  • Also on the card is a women’s strawweight bout between Leslie Hernandez and Brittany Camozzi. Hernandez is 2-1 as a pro with all three of her fights taking place under the LFA banner. She has won her last two bouts in a row heading into this contest. As for Camozzi, she is 1-2 as a pro and won her last fight. Her husband is former UFC fighter Brian Camozzi. Hernandez is the favorite to win this fight, and given the fact she has a winning record while Camozzi does not, it makes sense that Hernandez opened up as the favorite for this fight.
