Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 107:

  • The main event of LFA 107 features Kamuela Kirk (10-4) against Daniel Swain (20-4-1) in a featherweight bout. Starting with Kirk, you may remember him from Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019, where he dropped a unanimous decision to current UFC fighter Billy Quarantillo. Since then, Kirk has re-joined LFA and has gone 1-1 with a split decision loss to Bruno Souza and a first-round TKO win over Guilherme Santos back in January. As for Swain, he is also a Dana White’s Contender Series veteran, having lost to TJ Laramie on the show in 2020. A longtime veteran of the sport, Swain has fought for a number of promotions including RFA, which turned into LFA years later. Although Swain is a very experienced fighter, Kirk seems like the higher-end talent with more upside, and thus you see him as the favorite.
  • The co-main event features Alejandro Solorzano (9-2) against Vernon Lewis (8-4) in a heavyweight bout. Starting with Solorzano, he has won his last seven fights in a row and has fought for promotions including Combate and BKFC. As for Lewis, he is a Bellator veteran who has won his last two fights in LFA by knockout. Both men have been competing as professionals for a decade and this should be a fun fight that sees one of these big men get knocked out. The oddsmakers opened this fight as a Pick ’em, but early money is on Lewis.
