Titan FC 55 takes place at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida tonight (Friday, June 28, 2019) at 8 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. The flyweight will be on the line in the main event.
In the main event, champion Juan Puerta takes on Claudio Ledesma for the 125-pound belt. Puerta (16-6) is riding a five-fight winning streak, including three inside the Titan FC cage, most recently defeating Kazbek Ashimov via third round D’Arce choke submission at Titan FC 51 this past December to claim the Titan Flyweight Title. Ledesma (16-7) is making his promotional debut but has history with the promotions Ring of Combat, CFFC and Bellator. He also is riding a five-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Jesse Bazzi via unanimous decision in March.
The co-main event features a featherweight fight between two top prospects as Chase Hooper battles Luis Gomez. Hooper (7-0-1) has yet to taste defeat with a win on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series under his belt and is making his debut under the Titan FC banner. He most recently defeated Sky Moiselchik via second round referee stoppage in March. Gomez (7-3) holds a 3-2 record in Titan including an impressive slam victory over current UFC fighter Sodiq Yusuff. He most recently lost via rear naked choke to Herbert Burns at Titan FC 54 in April.
