Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 24 took place Tuesday, August 13, 2019.The card was headlined by a light heavyweight fight between Herdem Alacabek and William Knight.

Favorites that Won

Tony Gravely landed a huge left hand at the start of round three. From there, he continued to pressure on the mat with punches on Ray Rodriguez that forced the referee to step in and stop the bout. Gravely closed -345 while Rodriguez closed +264. With the victory, Gravely was an easy pick to sign to the UFC

Julius Anglickas took over the fight late against Karl Reed securing a late takedown and submission finish to get a victory in the third round. Anglickas closed -179 while Reed closed +154

 

Underdogs that Won

In one of the most exciting fights of the season, William Knight came from behind to earn a late TKO to upset Herdem Alcabek. Knight closed +137 while Alcabek closed -167. Knight has limited experience, so the UFC will bring him in under a developmental deal.

In a close fight, Brok Weaver landed the bigger punches to sneak out a decision victory over Devin Smyth. Weaver closed +135 with the return on Smyth -154. Weaver became a fan favorite with a colorful post fight interview and with that fans rejoiced when Dana White offered him a UFC contract

Sarah Alpar dominated Shanna Young in the grappling exchanges securing a rear naked choke in the second round for the victory. Alpar closed +122 while Young closed -141. Alpar impressed Dana White with her finishing ability and earned a UFC contract
