Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford Betting Selection

Las Vegas, Nevada – To make history in boxing and crown the first four-belt undisputed welterweight champion, WBC, WBA, and IBF Champion Errol Spence clashed with WBO champion Terence Crawford in the highly anticipated main event on Saturday night in what has been years in the making.

Betting Selection: Terence Crawford Money line (-145)

This is no doubt the one of the best fights to be made, if not the best fight in boxing now. Errol Spence has one by one grabbed three of the four main titles in boxing holding the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles with the lone WBO title being held by Terence Crawford. Promoter issues with both fighters being on opposite sides of TV networks caused them to never meet to unify the titles but Crawford crossed over after becoming a free agent.

This is a very close fight as the odds show but, I am siding with ‘Bud’ Crawford here as I believe he is overall the better fighter everywhere but not by a wide margin. Being the best switch-hitter in boxing and one of the best finishers combined with his accuracy, speed, and ring IQ Crawford should be able to get the better of the exchanges. He still needs to be wary of Spence’s pressure and body work as he is notorious for breaking down fighters with volume and his power shots to the head and body.

That is not to say Spence cannot win this fight because he is very talented himself and has fought the better competition between the two but, Crawford is so talented in the ring and long been recognized by fans and media as the number one pound for pound boxer. I could see a finish or decision win for either man as they are the top of the food chain for the welterweight division but after following both fighter’s careers for a long time I am siding with Terence Crawford. However, may the best man win, and the fans get a treat we have all been waiting for.

Thanks for reading and best of luck!
