The Brazilian is certainly an excellent prospect in the UFC’s lightweight division and fight fans will be looking for his next outing inside the Octagon. Those who were wise enough to take a shot on Silva ending this fight with strikes cashed in at a very nice +405, so congratulations are in order! 2) Josh Stansbury by Decision (+308) Josh Stansbury defeated his TUF 23 team-mate Cory Hendricks via majority decision on the judges’ scorecards following three rounds of action. He put up a solid performance but I think we need to see more of him inside the Octagon to get a real feel on him, and it would be good to see him against seasoned UFC-level competition. Congratulations are in order for those who took him by decision at the sportsbooks, as it cashed in at a nice +308. 3) Mattheu Nicolau by Decision (+235) Mattheu Nicolau defeated John Moraga via split decision on the judges’ scorecards following three very close rounds of lackluster action. Both 125-pounders left some to be desired, but Nicolau did come out on top, as did those who backed him to take the fight on the cards at +235, so congrats! 4) Cezar Ferreira by Decision (+445) Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira got the better of Anthony Smith over the course of three rounds to take home a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards and ultimately allowing those who wagered on him to do so to cash their tickets at a cool +445! Congrats if you’re one of ’em! 5) Kevin Lee by T/KO (+700) Kevin Lee surprised many by finishing Australia’s Jake Matthews via TKO in the very first round of action. Once he got top position, he poured it on and badly hurt Matthews, and the referee felt he had seen enough, as he opted to move in and halt the action, rewarding Lee the TKO victory. Those who bet on “The Motown Phenom” to put Matthews away via T/KO took home a +700 cash prize, so congratulations are most definitely in order! A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $300,842.
