Michael Bisping replaces Chris Weidman against Luke Rockhold at UFC 199   UFC President Dana White today announced Wednesday on ESPN Sportscenter that Michael Bisping has stepped in on short notice to face UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold at UFC 199. This comes after the news yesterday that Chris Weidman was forced to withdraw from the main event due to injury. Bisping (28-7) heads into this rematch on a three-fight winning streak including victories over C.B. Dolloway, Thales Leites and Anderson Silva. Prior to that, the TUF 3 winner lost via submission to Rockhold at UFC Fight Night 55 back in 2014. Rockhold (12-2) has won five-straight fights since his loss to Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 8 in 2013. It should also be noted (per MMAJunkie) that the title shot would have gone to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (23-4) had the Brazilian not been injured after his UFC 198 victory over Vitor Belfort. Johnson (24-2-1) is coming off a first-round TKO victory over Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo at UFC 197. Reis (20-6) heads into this title fight on a three-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision victory over Dustin Ortiz at UFC on FOX 18 this past January. Justino (16-1) is coming off a successful UFC debut where she stopped Leslie Smith 81-seconds into their 140-pound catchweight bout at UFC 198. De Randamie (6-3) is coming off a first-round TKO of Anna Elmose at UFC Fight Night 87 in her native Netherlands.  Despite the news, Cyborg claims her next fight will be for Invicta FC. “Cyborg” seemed surprised by the news, however, and took to Twitter to deny any fight booking.

John Lineker vs. Michael McDonald set for UFC Fight Night 91 co-headliner Also announced on FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight.” fan favorites John Lineker and Michael McDonald will clash in a bantamweight affair. McDonald (17-3) heads into this contest off a come from behind victory over  Masanori Kanehara back at UFC 195 in January. This marked his return to action after 24-months out of the cage. Lineker (27-7) recently earned a unanimous decision victory over Rob Font at UFC 198 which marked his second straight win in the bantamweight weight class.
