MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 34 middleweight John Poppie as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against Adam Stroup this Friday night (January 15, 2015) at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
The Wisconsin native took Stroup’s breakdown of him as a compliment and he expects to go out there, not waste time on unorthodox attacks and to be as efficient as possible once the cage doors close:
“What I do is very effective. It’s not flashy, but it’s effective… [Adam Stroup] is long and rangy obviously because he’s 6’3. He can hurt you if he wants to, but from what we saw, he doesn’t go for the kill as much as he could.”
