Two-Way Parlay for UFC 193

peter-sobottaUFC 193 Date: November 14, 2015 Arena: Etihad Stadium City: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for the first time in promotional history with UFC 193: Rousey vs Holm. The event will be feauturing 13 bouts in entirety, starting off with Fight Pass prelims at 6:15pm. The FOX Sports 1 prelims will get going at 8pm ET and the main card will kick off at 10pm ET on Pay Per View. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Welterweight bout: Kyle Noke (+145) vs Peter Sobotta (-165) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Noke’s best days are behind him and believe Sobotta is the better fighter with a brighter future at this point in their careers. I see Sobotta getting the better of Noke over the course of three rounds en route to picking up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think he will outgrapple Noke for the majority of 15-minutes to earn the unanimous nod from the judges’ at Octagon-side. I think Sobotta should be a -240 betting favorite here, so I really like him at his current betting line of -165. Gabe’s Call: Sobotta by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Light Heavyweight bout: Anthony Perosh (+335) vs Gian Villante (-420) Gabe’s Thoughts: Villante is undoubtedly the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 205-pound affair and holds a massive advantage on the feet. I don’t see Perosh finding success with any takedown attempts and think it will only be a matter of time until Villante puts him away with strikes. I think Villante should be a -800 betting favorite in this light heavyweight match-up, so I see value in him, even at his current heavy-juiced offering price of -420. I would not have been so confident in this play two years ago, but now that Villante has much improved both his striking and (especially) his conditioning, I have a hard time seeing him lose. The only way I would see Perosh winning is if he survived early and Villante gassed late, he’d be able to score a late stoppage. However, with Villante’s aforementioned improved gas tank, I am ruling that out as a possible outcome. Gabe’s Call: Villante by T/KO (punches, 0:32 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Sobotta (-165) and Villante (-420) at -102 for 4.3u to win 4.25u
