UFC Fight Night 76’s Louis Smolka: ‘We’re getting primed for contendership’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 76 flyweight Louis Smolka as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event this Saturday (October 24, 2015) against Paddy Holohan at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

The former Legacy middleweight champion hasn’t switched up much in advance of his second Octagon appearance, and that’s because he feels he has the winning formula over his South African foe in regards to his training environment:

“I think it’s gonna be a battle of will, a battle of heart. We’re basically getting primed for contendership right now. Everyone’s saying it, it’s kind of known and we’re expecting it at this point and we both know we want it. I can tell [Holohan] wants it. He has Conor McGregor over there and he wants everything that Conor has. I know he really, really wants this win and I want it too. I’m only in this sport to be a champion and it’s gonna be a war.”
