Legacy FC 47’s Clay Harvison: ‘I’d like to finish my career in the UFC’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 47 welterweight Clay Harvison about his upcoming main event  fight this Friday night (October 16, 2015) against Jordan Rinaldi at the Center Stage Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.

The former UFC veteran has now won four straight fights and despite being near the end of his career, he feels he can get one last big push into the world’s largest promotion if he continues to perform above and beyond at the highest regional levels:

“I know where my goal is, the light at the end of the tunnel. I know what I’m trying to do. I’m 35 years old. I’d like to finish my career in the UFC. I’m not fighting forever, so I’m making that last run right now and luckily for me, I’ve got a lot of successful friends with companies that are sponsoring me and I have a bit of a name too. UFC, though, it’s a major stop. Their minimum contracts destroy whatever I’ll get here. TV is a big deal. You’ve got to weigh those options to get the exposure.
