Your Best Bets for UFC 190’s ‘Fight of the Night’

Claudia-GadelhaUFC 190 Date: August 1, 2015 Arena: HSBC Arena City: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Rio de Janeiro tonight (August 1, 2015) with UFC 190: Rousey vs Correia, featuring a stacked 13-fight card. The main card action will get going at 10pm ET on Pay Per View, with preliminary action preceding it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and a pair of scraps on UFC Fight Pass prior to that at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on these ‘FOTN’ props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Gadelha/Aguilar +1000 || .5u to win 5u This has potential of being the best women’s UFC strawweight bout to date, and if it lives up to expectations, it has a great chance of taking home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, so I see great value in the prop at it’s current asking price of +1000. Gadelha is 1-1 inside the Octagon with her lone loss being a split decision to current UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrejczyk, and she hopes a victory here will earn her a rematch with the champ. Aguilar makes her UFC debut on the heels of a 10-fight winning streak and has title shot hopes of her own. She gave up her WSOF Women’s 115-pound title to purse UFC gold. I think these two have a great chance of producing fireworks, and should they take home the evening’s bonus, it would certainly be the first time for both ladies. Cannetti/Viana +1500 || .5u to win 7.5u These bantamweights will kick things off for the night, being the very first fight of the Rio de Janeiro evening. They are both exciting fighters who are fun to watch and I think they are going to get this show started on a high note. As long as this fight does not end very early, I think it will stand a good chance of taking home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus. On the other hand, however, I think these two will be looking for the finish from the get-go, so I see this as a fight that could end at any moment, so one would be wise not to blink. Both fighters are coming off long layoffs and are desperate for an Octagon victory. Should these bantamweights take home the evening’s honors, it would mean the first time for the TUF: Brazil veteran Viana, will being the second for the TUF: Latin America veteran Cannetti, who earned his first in his promotional debut last November.
