Five Crazy UFC 184 Prop Bets That Cashed Big

jake-ellenberger Five crazy prop bets is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy UFC 184 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. Jake Ellenberger wins by submission (+1740) In a welterweight bout, Jake Ellenberger submitted Josh Koscheck in the second round with a north-south choke. It was Ellenberger’s first win by submission in 10 years and not surprisingly the prop was undervalued at +1740 as no one expected Ellenberger to beat Koscheck in this fashion. Congrats to anyone who bet that. Tim Means wins in round 1 (+475)/Means has fastest KO of the Night (+975) In a lightweight bout, Tim Means put on a tremendous show, finishing Dhiego Lima in the first round with a blistering knockout. Means has never looked better in the UFC and it will be interesting to see who the UFC matches up with him going forward. The prop on Means wins in the first round cashed at +475 and the prop on Means scoring the fastest knockout of the night hit at +975. Derrick Lewis wins in round 2 (+575) In a heavyweight bout, Derrick Lewis finished Ruan Potts in the second round by knockout. Most thought “The Black Beast” would win in the first round but Lewis took his time and found the finish in the second. While you had to lay juice on Lewis to win in the first round, the prop on him winning round 2 was +575, which was a great hit for those who bet it. Valmir Lazaro wins by decision (+492) In a lightweight bout, Valmir Lazaro was able to outpoint James Krause and win a split decision in his second UFC fight. After a poor UFC debut not many people thought much of Lazaro but he proved in beating Krause that he has something to offer the UFC lightweight division. The prop on Lazaro wins by decision cashed at +492, which was a nice hit for anyone who bet it. Masio Fullen wins by decision (+415) In the opening fight of the card, Masio Fullen took home a close split decision over Alexander Torres. This fight could really have gone either way but the judges sided with Fullen and gave him the nod. The prop on Fullen wins by decision hit at +415, which was a nice little boost to anyone who bet it.
