UFC 174’s Ryan Jimmo: ‘My striking is technically better than OSP’s’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 174 light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo as he prepares for his main card event bout tonight (June 14, 2014) against Ovince St. Preux at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The former MFC champion has scored two knockouts already in his five-fight UFC career and he feels he could make it three if OSP chooses to stand with him tonight:

“I think [Ovince St. Preux]’s really going to have to sharpen up a lot on the stand-up game. If this is a stand-up affair, I’m simply technically better than him there and I have more punching power. He has a little bit of reach on me but with my karate style, that reach is taken away from him anyway. He’d better hope he’s cleaned up his technique because I’m hoping to break some chicklets out there.”
