Legacy FC 31’s Elias Garcia: ‘The Henry Cejudo fight left a bad taste in my mouth’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy Fighting Championship 31 bantamweight Elias Garcia as he prepares for his co-main event bout tonight (June 13, 2014) against Damacio Page at the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas.

The powerful slugger is coming off a tough decision loss to Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo, and he feels he’s fully prepared for all the intangibles that Page will bring to the Legacy FC cage:

“Other than his striking, it’s his heart. To me, that’s the ultimate thing. Not only do you have to get past the striking, but if you outstrike him, he’s gonna come at you no matter what. He’s not gonna get scared. Not gonna shy away. He’s gonna try to throw those bombs to knock you out and you just have to get mentally prepared for something like that.”
