UFC Fight Night 39’s Daron Cruickshank: ‘I don’t want to get hit with anything’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 40 lightweight Daron Cruickshank as he prepares for his main card bout this Saturday (May 10, 2014) against Erik Koch at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Detroit native looks to be utilizing his relative homefield advantage and he hopes his defense helps him dish out more punishment than he receives:

“At this level, he should have power in everything. I don’t want to get hit with anything. I don’t like getting hit and if I do get hit, I’m gonna hit you back a lot more. I was always taught it’s better to give than receive. Hopefully I don’t end up taking much and I end up giving it out a lot more.”
