UFC 174’s Demetrious Johnson: ‘I’m gonna take the fight to him’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 174 flyweight Demetrious Johnson as he prepares for his main event title bout on Saturday night (June 14, 2014) against Ali Bagautinov at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The top five pound-for-pound fighter isn’t sitting back and resting on his accomplishments as evidenced by his last title defense, and he expects to bring that same aggressive mindset into this upcoming bout:

“Whatever Ali shows up, I’ll be prepared for it. I’ve been dropped in my fights, got back up and kept on pushing forward and made adjustments during the fight. That’s how we train at AMC Pankration, taking the fight to our opponents. Even though I’m the champion, I’m gonna take the fight to him when in reality, he should be coming after me trying to beat me. I don’t care if he’s gonna engage or disengage, I’m gonna be right there.
