Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 120:
- The main event of LFA 120 sees Mayra Cantuaria take on Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels for the vacant LFA women’s flyweight title. Cantuaria is 32 years old and she is coming into this fight off of six straight wins. While she has not fought for any major promotions in North American yet, she has experience fighting for Jungle Fight in Brazil, with losses to future UFC fighters Amanda Lemos, Sarah Frota, and Lara Procopio. She also has a draw against Lemos. As for Horth, she is a Canadian MMA prospect who is 31 years old and 4-0 so far as a pro in MMA. I also like how many finishes Horth has. This looks like a competitive fight but I actually think Horth has a good chance to stay undefeated, and I would slightly lean her way to win this one.
- The co-main event, meanwhile, is a middleweight bout between Bruno Assis and Jalin Fuller. Assis is 29 years old and he has fought for promotions such as Titan FC, Brave CF, and Dana White’s Contender Series. Fuller, meanwhile, is a perfect 5-0 in MMA with his last four wins all coming by stoppage. Although Assis has more experience, he does have quite a few losses on his resume, so it makes sense that the unbeaten Fuller would open as the favorite in this one.
