Dana White’s Contender Series 41 takes place on Tuesday, September 28 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The offshore sportsbooks recently opened up the betting odds for the event, and MMAOB staff writer Adam Martin takes a look at the opening odds below.

Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds For Dana White’s Contender Series 41:
- The main event of DWCS 41 features Lukasz Sudolski against Igor Poterya in a light heavyweight contest. Sudolski is a perfect 8-0 in MMA with six of his wins coming by way of stoppage. Just 28, Sudolski had his first MMA fight in 2013 then he took five years off before returning to the cage in 2018, and he has been doing nothing but winning fights since then. As for Poterya, he is only 25 years old and is 19-2 as a pro. Poterya has won his last 16 fights in a row dating back to 2017, albeit against mediocre competition. I feel like this is a pretty competitive fight between two light heavyweights on the rise. Given that Sudolski is unbeaten it makes sense that he’s the favorite, but I wouldn’t count Poterya out of winning this fight.
- The co-main event features Chris Duncan against Manuel Gaxhja in a lightweight bout. Duncan is a Bellator veteran who is a perfect 7-0 as a pro with all of his wins coming by way of stoppage. As for Gaxhja, he is also a perfect 7-0 as a pro. Just 24 years old, Gaxhja hasn’t fought since 2019, but he has been a pro since 2014. Given Duncan has fought better competition in bigger shows, I have a pretty strong lean towards him to win this fight. It’s also worth mentioning that Gaxhja missed weight for this fight, though it will still go on as planned.
