Five Props That Cashed Big at UFC 252

Daniel Pineda

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC 252 bets that cashed big based on the closing odds from across various sportsbooks.

1) Daniel Pineda win in Round Two (+1400)

Herbert Burns had all the hype, but Daniel Pineda returned to the UFC and derailed Burns in a big way, dominating him with ground strikes and eventually finishing Burns via TKO in the second round. Pineda in round two was the clear prop of the night at +1400.

2) Marlon Vera by TKO (+1200)

In another hype train derailment, Marlon Vera landed an upper calf kick, which caused lost sensation in Sean O’Malley’s right foot. O’Malley badly turned his ankle trying to plant and Vera followed him to the ground, where he quickly finished him with ground and pound. Vera’s TKO was good for a sweet +1200.

3) Stipe Miocic by Decision (+575)

In a trilogy heavyweight title fight that had ended by knockout in both previous battles, Stipe Miocic survived getting hurt in the first round, nearly finished Daniel Cormier in the second round, then utilized strong clinch control to ride out a decision to retain his title. Miocic by decision closed at a cool +575.

4) Jairzinho Rozenstruik wins in Round Two (+550)

Jairzinho Rozenstruik was getting outclassed by Junior dos Santos, but all it took was one big combination in the second round to turn the fight on its head and put dos Santos out. Rozenstruik in round two paid +550.

5) Danny Chavez by Decision (+450)

If Danny Chavez was going to beat TJ Brown, most thought it would be on the feet, but he was able to secure multiple takedowns to win two of the three rounds and earn the decision victory as an underdog. Chavez by decision closed at +450.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have made you a millionaire with $4,705,494.
