Bellator 165’s Fernando Gonzalez: ‘(Michael Page) is taking easy fights, I’ve been fighting tough guys’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 165 welterweight Fernando Gonzalez as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Saturday night (November 19, 2016) against Michael Page at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Gonzalez discusses sponsorships, training and the pressure facing his unbeaten opponent Page:

“If it was somebody else, I think it would be an easy fight for (Page). It wouldn’t bother him at all. But with this fight, he was really trying to get into my head. I told him, I think you’re worried about it more than I am, knowing that you’re actually fighting a tough competitor. He’s got a lot of wins in there, but he’s been built up. He’s taking easy fights, and I think that’s what’s going to make the difference is that I’ve been fighting tough guys.”
