Opening Odds for UFC Futures including Bisping/Henderson 2 and Dodson/Lineker

UFC 204 posterUltimate Fighting Championship (UFC) didn’t holding any events this weekend, so it was time to catch up on a few major fights taking place in the next few months. The biggest bout of all, the UFC 204 headliner rematch between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson, will take place on Saturday, October 8th, in what is expected to be the final fight of Henderson’s career, whether or not he wins the title from the champion Bisping. Henderson notably knocked out Bisping at UFC 100 in one of the biggest highlights of his professional career and is hoping to repeat history at 45 years old. Also coming up will be a bantamweight headliner between a pair of former flyweights who have moved up a division and seriously impressed. Heavy-handed sluggers John Lineker and John Dodson will square off in the main event of UFC Fight Night 96 on October 1st, with the winner getting one step closer to a title shot. Last but not least, Fabricio Werdum has a new opponent for UFC 203 on September 10th, as Ben Rothwell was forced out with an injury. Taking Rothwell’s place will be Travis Browne, a man Werdum defeated in a UFC on Fox five round main event to earn his UFC first title shot.
