Match-up against Martin Svensson A matchup of two TUF 22 veterans making their UFC debut. This is a complete clash of styles. Teymur is an excellent striker with several accolades in Muay Thai. Svensson is the longer fighter who has won the majority of his fights by submission. Ultimately, this fight comes down who can employ their gameplan best. Will the fight stay standing or will Svensson be able to control Teymur on the ground? Svensson has good submissions, but I don’t expect him to have success in the wrestling. His striking is fairly rudimentary and he’s already been knocked out twice in his career.  Teymur’s talented striking will be tough for Svensson to survive over the course of 15 minutes. UFC Ceiling David Teymur is just 26 yearsold, but already has plenty of experience in combat sports; mainly from his years in Muay Thai. His striking is certainly UFC caliber and he can compete right away against even above average strikers. Like many striking specialists, his success in the promotion will come down to his ability to defend takedowns and avoid grappling situations. If he’s able to do that, he can be a fighter the UFC uses in action fights on European cards for years to come.
