Two-Way Parlay for UFC on FOX 18’s Fox Sports 1 Prelims

Tarec SaffiedineUFC on FOX 18 Date: January 30, 2016 Arena: Prudential Center City: Newark, NJ The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Newark, NJ for the seventh time in promotional history with UFC on FOX 18: Johnson vs Bader. The action packed 13-fight card kicks off at 8pm ET on FOX, with preliminary action preceding it on FOX Sports 1 at 5pm ET and Fight Pass at 3:30pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Welterweight bout: Jake Ellenberger (+205) vs Tarec Saffiedine (-245) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Saffiedine is the superior striking heading into this 170-pound contest and see him getting the better of Ellenberger on the feet for three rounds of action, likely for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think his leg-kicks will be effective against Ellenberger and see him finding success with his counter-punches. I predict Saffiedine lands a high volume of strikes and technically outpoints “The Juggernaut” for a clear-cut unanimous decision win, likely sending him to the unemployment line and ultimately the Bellator roster or retirement. I think Saffiedine should be a -380 betting favorite in this match-up, so I like him for a leg in this two-way parlay at his current offering price of -245. Gabe’s Call: Saffiedine by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Featherweight bout: Alex Caceres (-290) vs Masio Fullen (+245) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this is “do or die” for both 145-pounders and they have their backs against the wall heading into this contest. At -290, I think Caceres still holds betting value, as I think he should be a -420 favorite heading into the contest. I believe he is the superior mixed martial artist here and see him outstriking Fullen, as well as outgrappling him. Over the course of three rounds of action, I think he will manage to find a submission for the finish, and I favor him to do so in the first stanza. I see him getting the job done via rear naked choke or triangle. Gabe’s Call: Caceres by Submission (triangle choke, 4:39 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Saffiedine (-245) and Caceres (-290) at -112 for 4.65u to win 4.15u
