Gabe Killian’s Plays for Week 16 of the NFL

nflI am back with my plays for Week 16 of the 2015-16 NFL season. The season is nearing its end and I am hoping to end it on a high note. Without further ado, here are my plays for the week… EARLY GAMES Jets +4 (-155) > Patriots *buy 1.5pts 5.11u to win 3.3u Running-backs LaGarrette Blount and Dion Lewis are both done for the year, so the Patriots have signed veteran Steven Jackson to the roster, but I don’t think he is going to play a factor against the Jets defense, especially his first week with the Pats offense. This is a big game for both teams. The Patriots need the win to hold on to their chances of clinching the top seed, and for the Jets, they need the win if they want their playoff hopes to remain alive. They have a chance at clinching a wild card and I see them getting it done on their home field in New York. I think the Jets have a very good chance of winning this game outright, but I am going to play it safe and take the points, instead. They are currently +2.5, but I am opting to buy an extra point and a half to +4. Cowboys +7 (-130) > Bills 1.3u to win 1u The Cowboys are having all kinds of problems right now and are in a real funk. Their season is over. That said, I think they stay in this game and keep it tight. I think this one comes down to a field goal and I think Dallas has a decent chance of saving some face with a W on the road in this match-up. I think Kellen Moore has a decent game for his first start in the NFL, and I see him connecting with tight-end Jason Witten and wide-receiver Dez Bryant on a number of occasions. Bryant will have a one-on-one match-up with Bills’ corner-back Ronald Darby, and I think he will manage to get the better of Darby on his offensive plays, despite the fact that his broken foot (which he suffered early this season) is still not 100% healed. Ravens +11 (-125) > Steelers 1.25u to win 1u Don’t be surprised if the Ravens get the big upset and win this one outright. Personally, I am not willing to gamble on that, but I do like them on the spread at +11. Some people are predicting a blowout, but I don’t think they lose by more than 10 points. I think this will be a close game, which is how these teams generally play against each other. I’m going to take the points on Baltimore in this match-up, as I see them covering at home. The Ravens won on the road in overtime in Week 4 and whether they go 2-0 for the season or not at home, I think they keep it close. PARLAY Panthers (-280), Lions (-550) and Cardinals (-210) at +136 for 1u to win 1.36u I see all three of these favorites winning outright in their match-ups. That said, I think all three games can be close, which is why I am not taking any of the teams on the spread. Whether they’re close games or blow-outs is a coin-flip, I’d say, but I see all three teams getting the win, whether it’s by 3 points or 30.
