Pair of Parlays for UFC on FOX 17

Rafael dos AnjosUFC on FOX 17 Date: December 19, 2015 Arena: Amway Center City: Orlando, FL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns this Saturday (December 19, 2015) to Orlando, FL with UFC on FOX 17: Dos Anjos vs Cerrone 2. The action-packed 13 fight card will get going with the Fight Pass prelims at 3:30pm ET and the FOX Sports 1 prelims to follow at 5pm ET, with main card action getting underway at 8pm ET on FOX. If interested in wagering on these parlays, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my parlays: Lightweight title bout: Rafael Dos Anjos (-220) vs Donald Cerrone (+180) Gabe’s Thoughts: Considering how their first fight played out and how both fighters have looked since, I think Dos Anjos should be a much bigger favorite in this rematch, so I think he holds great value at his current offerng price of -220. On top of that, I think there is a lot of value in the Total of Over 4.5 rounds at -145, as I think he gets the job done on the judges’ scorecards more often than not. To put it simply, I think this fight is going to play out just like the first one did, except for an extra two rounds. Cerrone is coming off a decision win over Benson Hendson, which I thought was a robbery, and a TKO win over John Makdessi following that, which I don’t think warrants a title shot, nor a +180 dog tag. He has not been very impressive in recent bouts, whle Dos Anjos completely dominated Anthony Pettis and took his belt. I think the Brazilian deserves more respect and should be a -400 betting favorite here. I don’t think the IV-ban will effect his performance enough to bring him down to defeat. Gabe’s Call: Dos Anjos by Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) Welterweight bout: Kamaru Usman (-210) vs Leon Edwards (+160) Gabe’s Thoughts: Edwards is an excellent striker with solid takedown defense but Usman is the superior grappler with a massive advantage in wrestling. I think Usman will find success taking Edwards down, as he is powerful and works great takedowns, doing a good job of timing them. In short, I see Usman dominating Edwards on the mat for three rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think he should be a -350 betting favoritein this spot, so I think he holds great value at his current offerng price of -210. I also think he wins this fight on the judges’ scorecards more often than not, so I like the Total of Over 2.5 rounds at -165. Gabe’s Call: Usman by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlays: 1) Dos Anjos (-220) and Usman (-210) at +114 for 4.45u to win 5.1u and 2) Dos Anjos/Cerrone Over 4.5 rounds (-145) and Usman/Edwards Over 2.5 rounds (-165) at +171 for 2.25u to win 3.85u
