henry-cejudo-ufc-on-fox-132TUF Latin America 2 Finale Date: November 21, 2015 Arena: Arena Monterrey City: Monterrey, Mexico The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Monterrey, Mexico for the first time in promotional history with The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2 Finale: Gastelum vs Magny. The event will feature 11 bouts in entirety, leading off with Fight Pass prelims at 6:30pm ET, with FOX Sports 1 prelims to follow at 8pm ET and the main card to get going at 10pm ET on the same channel. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Welterweight bout: Kelvin Gastelum (-270) vs Neil Magny (+230) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this main event scrap is likely to play out for five rounds, and the way I see it is Gastelum is going to clearly win the first two rounds, with the last two rounds being a toss-up, as there is the possibility of him fading and Magny taking over late. I think Magny is the fighter with superior cardio, but Gastelum has good conditioning of his own, so I don’t see him badly gassing. This is the first five round fight for both welterweights and I think they both have enough in the tank to go the distance, I just think Magny will likely be the fresher fighter at the sound of the final bell. I see Gastelum getting the better of Magny with his boxing and wrestling, mixing things up en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. That said, I would not be surprised to see him end this fight by knockout or submission. Gabe’s Call: Gastelum by Unanimous Decision (49-46, 48-47, 49-46) Flyweight bout: Henry Cejudo (-450) vs Jussier Formiga (+360) Gabe’s Thoughts: Cejudo is the superior wrestler and striker heading into this flyweight match-up, but I don’t think he will look to employ his wrestling, as it will feed into the one area Formiga holds an advantage, and that being in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I expect Cejudo to keep this fight on the feet and outstrike the Brazilian over the course of three rounds en route to picking up a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards. I would not be surprised to see him end this fight via T/KO and think it is a very likely outcome, I just favor a decision slightly more. Formiga’s only chance at a win is to catch Cejudo in a lucky submission, and I don’t see that happening. Gabe’s Call: Cejudo by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Gastelum (-270) and Cejudo (-450) at -149 for 4.15u to win 2.8u
