Legacy FC 46’s Steven Peterson: ‘Obviously I have a big advantage on the ground’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 46 bantamweight Steven Peterson as he prepares for his upcoming main event bout tonight (October 2, 2015) against Irwin Rivera at the Allen Events Center in Allen, Texas.

The talented regional veteran is looking to pick up a big win against the undefeated prospect, and he expects his well-roundedness and experience will be the biggest factors in achieving victory:

“Obviously I have a big advantage on the ground. If it goes there, I feel like I’ll take him out really quickly. I feel like I won’t have too much trouble on the feet. [Irwin Rivera]’s gonna brawl and I’ll use my length. I’m very well-rounded. I have good striking, good clinchwork, good wrestling and exceptional ground work so anywhere the fight goes, I’ll be comfortable. I think he’s gonna explode forward and I’m gonna end up catching him on the feet and I might end up getting a knockout out of it.”
