Bellator 141’s Brent Primus: ‘Beating Derek Anderson should put me in title contention’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 141 lightweight Brent Primus as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout tonight (August 28, 2015) against Derek Anderson at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

The undefeated submission specialist has not yet left the first round in his professional mixed martial arts career and he feels he’ll be knocking on the door for a title shot if he can take care of business tonight:

“I feel like Derek Anderson is a tough opponent. I feel like he’s one of the top guys in Bellator at 155 right now. He beat Patricio Pitbull so I know he’s one of the top guys. If feel like if I beat him, I should be in title contention somewhere. Whether it be two fights, whatever.”
