MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 141 heavyweight Raphael Butler as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Friday night (August 28, 2015) against Lorenzo Hood at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.
The former boxer has made a smooth transition to mixed martial arts, and he plans on continuing to grow and develop into a dominant force despite his excellent showings thus far under the Bellator banner:
“I’m a different type of beast than the guys [Lorenzo Hood] has faced before. I’m a guy that, even though I’ve been so dominant in my fights, I’m still learning and that’s the thing that people don’t get about me. I’m still progressing in this thing. That, and when I hit somebody, even if I don’t put you out right away, it’ll hurt. People who I sparred with and fought say that I hit differently than anyone they’ve ever faced.”
