Titan FC 34’s Tim Elliott: ‘I die for fights like this’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC 34 flyweight Tim Elliott as he prepares for his upcoming main card title bout tonight (July 18, 2015) against Iliarde Santos at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri.

The UFC veteran knows he has a very tough test in front of him in the powerful Brazilian, but he feels he’s made the proper adjustments in training to pull out a win:

“Iliarde [Santos] is a big strong guy. He comes forward and he’s not gonna avoid the action. I die for those fights. That’s what I want. I want a bloody, knockdown, drag-out fight. I’ve really been working on some different things. I was always moving forward and Makovsky exposed me. I’ve been training my footwork, gymnastics, traditional martial arts… I’ve been working on having more urgency and not being too comfortable everywhere.”
